About Us

The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) is a specialized division within the police department dedicated to curbing the illicit trafficking, sale, storage, and consumption of narcotic substances.

Key Responsibilities:

Taking action against individuals involved in the trafficking and sale of narcotics.
Tracing and dismantling illegal drug supply chains.
Gathering intelligence to conduct raids and investigations.
Seizing illicit substances such as cannabis (ganja), cocaine, heroin, MD (mephedrone), and other narcotics.
Initiating legal proceedings against offenders under the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act.
Raising awareness in schools, colleges, and public spaces to prevent drug abuse.
Coordinating with other police stations and relevant agencies for effective enforcement against drug-related crimes.
