Through the Navi Mumbai Police Welfare Fund, various welfare schemes are being implemented for all police officers and personnel. These primarily include health-related initiatives, the Maharashtra Police Family Health Scheme, book grants for meritorious police children, scholarships, medical advances, educational advances, the Eklavya and Skill Development Scheme, medical camps, and other such welfare programs, which are executed through the Police Welfare Branch. Additionally, children of all police officers and personnel in the Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate are being provided with various vocational training programs to make them capable and to offer them opportunities for employment/self-employment.

The Evidence Management Centre (EMC) faced by law enforcement agencies in managing evidence captured during Panchanama, Crime Scenes, Raids etc.) is a Technology-oriented comprehensive solution designed to address the various challenges etc. Leveraging digital technology, EMC ensures a seamless chain of custody, reducing errors and improving case resolution timelines

Senior Citizen Helpline 1090 No one can escape the fact that senior citizens today are at greater risk than ever before. However, it is alarming that senior citizens live alone. Abandoned by their uncaring families, completely helpless in crisis, extremely vulnerable due to health problems and depression as well as the criminal element. But now they will have their own family again There is a helping hand Now what all senior citizens need to do to get help, senior citizens can call helpline 1090: 1. When they need urgent medical attention. 2. When they face situations that involve physical violence or threats to their lives. 3. Senior citizens can directly call 1090 to register themselves.

SENSITIVE NAVI MUMBAI POLICE DURING COVID-19 PANADEMIC The book 'SENSITIVE NAVI MUMBAI POLICE DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC' provides information on the performance of Navi Mumbai Police during the Covid-19 crisis. 2020-08-04

Information about Dial 112 (Maharashtra State Emergency Response System). 1) Dial 112 project has been implemented in Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate from 04/09/2021. 2) A total of 13 computers have been set up for 12 dispatchers and 01 supervisors at the control room of Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate for Dial 112 project 3) In 2021, 04 police officers working at the control room have been trained as supervisors and 13 police officers as dispatchers and a total of 1064 police officers from constable to police constable cadre working in the police station have been trained as responders. 4) In case of technical failure in dial 112 system, technical representatives appointed by Mahindra Defense Systems Limited Company are available at Control Room, Navi Mumbai Commissionerate between 08:00 AM and 22:00 PM and after 22:00 PM Technical Officer at Primary Contact Center is available on phone. 5) Four wheeler 35 and two wheeler 41 M.D.T. has been built. 6) In 2023 training of dial 112 control room to 07 police officers as supervisors and 22 police officers as dispatchers and a total of160 police officers from constable to police constable working in police stations as responders. Training has been provided.

CCTV SURVEILLANCE PROJECT M/s CIDCO Ltd. in the jurisdiction of Navi Mumbai Police. And the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has provided a comprehensive and integrated video surveillance system to the Navi Mumbai Police with an aim to enhance safety and security in the city. This system is integrated with several monitoring systems that help us Detect Crimes, Issue Citations To Traffic Violators, Issue Court Notices and Many More. Two more big CCTV city surveillance projects will be provided to Navi Mumbai Police by Panvel Municipal Corporation and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation in the coming time.

E-CHALLAN Navi Mumbai Police Traffic Department is the First Police Commissionerate in Maharashtra to Levy E-Challans on Vehicles Violating Traffic Rules Across Maharashtra In 2015. Department of Home Affairs, Government of Maharashtra has enabled the Navi Mumbai Traffic Police to be fully automated with an e-challan system. Traffic fines are enforced through the e-challan system across the city of Navi Mumbai also, CCTV Cameras and Speed Cameras of CCTV City Surveillance Project of Navi Mumbai have been integrated. Currently, Speed Cameras have been installed on the Sion-Panvel Highway.

24X7 CITIZEN ASSISTANCE THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA As citizens have access to internet connected smartphones, they are connected with social media. So can't stay away from our presence on social media. Navi Mumbai Police is active on social media and helping citizens on various issues related to police. @Navimumpolice twitter handle has more than 189K followers and Navi Mumbai Police Facebook Page has more than 11K followers and navimumbaipolice Instagram account has more than 5.5K followers. Dedicated social media team at Navi Mumbai Police Head Office is available 24X7 to answer the queries of netizens and provide all possible help.

M-POLICE APP (Maharashtra Police Information and Analysis System) is one of the operational projects of Navi Mumbai Police. The system will automate all departmental processes and provide a transparent picture of police department processes to all levels of officers

NIRBHAYA SQUAD Every police station in Navi Mumbai has a dedicated Nirbhaya squad. This women's squad comprising a lady Sub-Inspector, a Woman Constable, a Male Constable and a Driver Constable patrol the streets regularly to prevent cases of harassment of girls, women and children.

TRAFFIC HELP LINE Navi Mumbai Traffic Police has launched a traffic helpline number 7738393839 24X7 for the citizens who have some traffic related issues and want to ask some queries about traffic conditions as well as currency etc.

YATHARTH In reality the user can record the panchnama and statement as they are. Two users are Investigating Officer (I. O.) and Station In-Charge (P. S. O.) statement of Investigating Officer is challenged during court proceedings due to inconsistent/different facts. In this we can see battery status device status notes, registered Panchnama which is a scientific collection of tamper proof images, videos and audio recordings. Statement can be recorded as it is to increase authenticity and reliability Two users Investigating Officer (I. O.) and Umpire to enhance authenticity and reliability I. O. Credibility should be enhanced in court regarding the statement submitted by Easy/quick recall of details during court proceedings will reduce resistance to witnessing.

I-BIKE Crime investigation is a very important task of the police department. Police are informed/ reported as soon as any incident takes place. Accordingly, the police officer/constable visits the crime scene, or the applicant comes to the police station and registers his complaint. In any investigation, the crime site plays a vital role. It is essential to do the crime spot panchnama, immediately collect and (retain) preserve the physical, chemical, biological and conditional proofs in a scientific manner. Likewise taking photographs and video recording the crime scene is also a very important aspect of the investigation process and hence the legal procedures. i-Bike means Investigation Bike. i-Bike will be introduced as an extension to i-Car. For the i-Bike, a two-wheeler, kit bag, digital camera, jacket & helmet will be allotted. The i-Bike employees will be trained under the Legal Scientific Training Association – Forensic Science Lab.

Deputy Chief Minister, Maharashtra State Mr. Devendra Fadanavis Inaugurated Women Assistance Cell @ Savli Building, 1st Floor, Ayappa Mandir Road, Near Dr. D.Y.Patil Hospital Gate, Sector 05, Nerul, Navi Mumbai-400706 1) Women Help Desk:- Issues arising out of domestic violence/domestic strife are dealt with in Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate. Also, by counselling and guiding the husband and wife, they try to make their lives as smooth as possible. Also the following works. A) Mahila Shaskiya Suraksha Committee B) Vishakha Committee C) Community Policing d) Taskforce E) Morality Scheme e) Women's Support Room c) Women Counseling Center (Vashi, Kharghar, Panvel) f) Hirkani chamber h) Public awareness programme 2) Hall for imparting training on crimes related to women:- There is a training hall for imparting training to officers and enforcers in the Commissionerate on crimes related to women. 3)Temporary shelter for victimized and destitute women:- A temporary accommodation facility with all facilities has been provided for the victimized and destitute women and girls. 4) Cyber Police Station:- As cyber crimes are increasing day by day, cyber police station has been established to register and redress the complaints regarding cyber fraud.
