Accident Description
On 10th October 2025, between 1130 AM and 1150 AM, I was driving my vehicle Brezza Yellow MH 43 BE 2176 from Ulwe Sector 5 towards Sector 23, following all traffic rules. I was taking a lawful Uturn at the traffic signal of Sector 20, Shivaji Chowk, near Chetak Sweets, while my signal was green. Suddenly, a pedestrian crossed the road against her red signal, entering the U turn lane. Despite driving responsibly and applying the brakes immediately, my car accidentally grazed her foot, as she came directly into the turning path and was in a blind spot due to her short height approx. 4ft .Simultaneously, a grey Royal Enfield biker came from the opposite direction in the wrong lane, directly violating traffic rules, and lightly hit my car. The biker was not wearing a helmet and immediately assaulted me verbally and physically, including slapping me in public. After realizing that he was at fault, he fled the scene, leaving me responsible for attending to the injured pedestrian. At all times, I was driving cautiously, following traffic signals, wearing a seatbelt, and taking responsible action by rushing the injured pedestrian to a hospital without attempting to flee. The entire incident was caused solely by the pedestrians jaywalking and the bikers reckless, illegal driving, and not by any action on my part.
