Do keep your passwords private.

Do think before you click.

Be cautious of links in emails, messages, or social media posts, especially from unknown senders. They could be attempts to steal your information or infect your device.

Do keep your devices updated.

Update your operating system, browser, and security software regularly to protect against threats.

Do log out.

Always log out of your accounts when you are finished using a public or shared computer.

Do be careful with what you share.

Think twice before posting personal information, photos, or videos online. Once something is on the internet, it can be hard to remove.

Do report cyberbullying.

If you or someone you know is being bullied online, tell a trusted adult, teacher, or parent.

Don't reply to spam or suspicious messages.

Don't share bank details or credit/debit card numbers.

Never share card numbers, PINs, CVV, or passwords.

How to Report Cyber Crime?

If you are a victim of cyber crime, report it immediately to the local police station or on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.

Keep all evidence like screenshots, chat logs, emails, transaction receipts safe.

Do not delete any messages or communication with the offender.

Inform your bank immediately if financial fraud has occurred to block cards or accounts.

You can also report cyber crime anonymously on the portal.
